Stabbing Arrest

 

Bloomington, IL - On Saturday, 03-30-19, at approximately 3:50 a.m., Bloomington officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Tracy Drive for a fight. It was reported a male and a female were attacking a woman in the common area of an apartment building.  Upon arrival, officers located an adult female victim, who had sustained non-life threatening injuries from being stabbed.  She was ultimately transported to an area hospital for treatment. 

 

A subsequent investigation led to the identification of two adult suspects, one male and one female.  The male suspect was located and arrested on-scene.  The female suspect had fled in a vehicle prior to officers' arrival, but was located and arrested a short time later. 

 

Arrested were:

Mariah Davidson, 40, of Normal, for Aggravated Battery / Deadly Weapon.

 

Tommie Slayton, 34, of Champaign, for Aggravated Battery of a Police Officer, Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer, and Battery.
