Juvenile Arrests made in Stolen Vehicle Incident

 

Bloomington, IL - On Monday, 05-20-19, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Bloomington Police arrested two juvenile males for several charges stemming from a stolen vehicle incident.

 

In the early morning hours, officers were dispatched to the area of 5th Street and B Avenue in Bloomington for suspects burglarizing vehicles. Officers were given a description of the vehicle the suspects were in. A short time later, a third shift officer located the suspect vehicle near Main Street and Veterans Parkway. Before the officer could stop the vehicle, the vehicle sped off, and crashed near Main Street and Armory Road.

 

Officers arrested one 13 year old juvenile male and two others fled on foot. After a foot pursuit, officers arrested a 15 year old juvenile male and later located another 15 year old juvenile male that was connected with the stolen vehicle incident.

All suspect(s) are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in the court of law.
