JUST ADDED! (Tickets on sale Thursday, August 14)

The Boston Globe describes Austin-based singer-songwriter Ruthie Foster as “a natural-born singer with a voice that is potent, unfussy, and, at times, deeply moving.” The Los Angeles Times adds her new album, “… gutsily named ‘The Phenomenal Ruthie Foster,’ will convert those hungry for some real hot soul.”

Ruthie Foster’s voice and musical sensibility are equal parts Mahalia Jackson, Bonnie Raitt, and Aretha Franklin. The perfect blend of folk, blues, gospel, and soul, Foster easily communicates her honest spirituality, especially in her must-hear classic soul setting of the Maya Angelou poem, "Phenomenal Woman."
