Singer, songwriter, and saxophonist Curtis Stigers made a big name for himself in the ‘90s with a string of top ten singles, including “I Wonder Why” and “Never Saw a Miracle.” He has since returned to his jazz roots, training his warm, soulful voice on a diverse selection of songs from John Lennon’s “Jealous Guy” and Annie Lennox’s “Cold,” to standards like “My Funny Valentine” and “Wee Small Hours of the Morning.” With Stigers, no good song merits indifference. And they all become better in his hands.
