On May 16, 2016, the City Council authorized a Feasibility Study for the potential North Main Street / Chestnut Street TIF District which includes commercial properties at the corner of North Main Street and Chestnut Street north of downtown Bloomington.

May 16, 2016: Ordinance No. 2016-45 – Authorized TIF consultant Peckham Guyton Albers & Viets (PGAV) to conduct a Feasibility/Eligibility Study for the potential North Main Street / Chestnut Street TIF District.

November 28, 2016: TIF consultant PGAV presented the Feasibility/Eligibility Study for the potential North Main Street / Chestnut Street TIF District to the City Council.

November 28, 2016: Ordinance No. 2016-126 – Authorized TIF consultant PGAV to draft a Redevelopment Plan for the potential North Main Street / Chestnut Street TIF District.
