On Friday, July 14, 2017, at approximately 9:38 p.m., Bloomington Police Officers responded to an Armed Robbery at Schlotsky’s Deli, in the 500 block of IAA Drive. It was reported two suspects entered the store, armed with a knife and demanded money from an employee. The employee was battered by the suspects, who took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area on foot.
On Sunday, July 16, 2017, at approximately 5:20 a.m., Bloomington Police Officers responded to the 1800 block of West Olive Street for a report of an Armed Subject.
It was reported, while at O'Neil Park, in the 1500 block West Chestnut, at approximately 2:45 p.m., a male who identified himself as "Israel" told camp counselors he was with Child Protective Services and had orders to pick up a juvenile. The counselors did not allow the male to pick up the juvenile.

On Tuesday, June 14, 2017, at approximately 11:25 a.m., Bloomington Police responded to a Robbery at PNC Bank, 2217 West Market Street. It was reported a male entered the bank, unarmed and demanded money from an employee.
