Public Affairs Officer
The Public Affairs Officer is the primary point of non-emergency contact with the Bloomington Police Department for questions, concerns, compliments, criticisms, information, or suggestions of a general nature. The Unit receives and responds to or forwards inquiries to the appropriate unit for a response. The Citizen Input e-mail address is police@cityblm.org. The Public Affairs Officer can also be reached at (309) 434-2355 from Monday thru Friday from 8AM - 4PM. Crime & Intelligence Analysis Unit

To provide information about drug sales, or gang activity that does not require an immediate response, contact the Bloomington Police Department Crime & Intelligence Analysis Unit at (309) 434-2963 or at ciau@cityblm.org. The office is staffed from 8am-4:30pm weekdays. If no one is available to answer your call, please leave the information on the voicemail or send it by e-mail. You may leave information anonymously.

Recruitment

Complaints

The policy of the Bloomington Police Department is to investigate complaints of misconduct on the part of any Police Officer or employee of the Department. Forms and Instructions

Fingerprinting Services

The Bloomington Police Department offers fingerprinting services open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon - 6 p.m. No appointment is necessary.

There is a $20.00 processing fee per card. Payments must be made with cash or personal check. Valid form of identification is required.

This facility is not permitted to do Concealed Carry License Application Fingerprinting. For more information on CCL, please visit the ISP website at www.isp.state.il.us

BPD will only provide inked prints (Livescan is not available).
