John D. Hanson 

John was appointed to the City Council in April of 2006 to serve out the term of the previous councilman for Ward 8.

Hanson is owner/partner of Hanson’s Cleaners and Bloomington Drapery Service.

He attended the University of Illinois and a graduate of Southern Illinois School of Aviation.

Hanson has served on the District 87 School Board and McLean County Regional Planning Commission.

John and his wife Cheryl have 4 children.
