Junior Golf
Ken Adams 2012 Junior Golf League
Welcome to another season of junior golf. This year we have some exciting information to share with you. Each week our staff will be working with the golfers individually in order to build, develop and refine their abilities as well as teaching etiquette, safety and the golf rules.
For the 13-17 year olds, each week at Prairie Vista, we will have 15 minutes of B.D.R. (building, developing and refining) time at the range with an instructor before their round. The instructor will have a variety of skill drills for the golfers to work on.
The younger golfers at Highland will spend some time at the range with instructors working on various drills the first day of league. Through out the season we will build, develop and refine skills on the course.
During their rounds at Highland Park, the instructors will be out on the course, offering encouragement, swing and club advice, answering questions and providing fundamentals to all of the golfers. Instead of medals each week, the golfers will receive points for attendance, ability improvement, etiquette awareness and rule knowledge.
We will keep a running total of Skill Points Awarded in our Junior Area in the Clubhouse. There will be special scorecards and we will keep track of progress weekly.
There will be an end of the year banquet for everyone with awards, prizes and a special guest speaker.
Our golf staff’s philosophy is to create confident junior golfers, giving them the skills they can take with them into adulthood for the love of the game.

Cost: $60 Registration fee covers all golf fees, instruction and awards banquet. Highland Park Pass holder registration fee will be waived.
