Holiday Pictures with the Reindeer

Have your family holiday picture taken with a Miller Park Zoo reindeer! Three poses will be captured by a photographer and transferred to CD. If weather is inclement, a shelter area will be used. Reservations and prepayment should be made in advance at the zoo. Cost is $15 per family (zoo admission not included in this fee).

Breakfast with Santa & the Reindeer

Miller Park Zoo's annual family breakfast will feature not only Santa Claus, but also Santa's special reindeer friends! Learn about reindeer from an expert, visit Santa and pose for pictures, and enjoy a breakfast of bagels, cereal, & fruit. Be sure to bring
your camera.

Cost:
Members: $8 per person, 3 years through adult
Non-members: $12 per person
**Those under 3 are free, but must be included on your reservation request so we have adequate seating for your group.

All program registration is handled through the Bloomington Parks & Recreation Department at http://recweb.cityblm.org

Can Reindeer Fly?

Please read the attached letter and learn why it is important to come to Miller Park Zoo and cheer on the reindeer-

Miller Park Zoo Staff: I have a list of exercises each reindeer needs to be able to perform in order to be part of my Christmas Eve flying crew. Please encourage your reindeer to begin practicing these exercises, December 6. You may test them on these skills, December 13. If all goes as I expect, I will be awarding an official Christmas Eve flying crew certificate, December 20. While I am at Miller Park Zoo for the award, I would be delighted to thank all of the children for cheering on the reindeer to reach this goal.
