Groups may rent the Miller Park Bandstand for events by calling the Bloomington Parks & Recreation Department at 434-2260. There is a fee for electricity use.

The Miller Park Summer Theatre
The Miller Park Summer Theatre presents two shows in each summer in an outdoor setting. We have a long tradition of showcasing the talents of the Bloomington area theatrical. Individuals of all ages have been in various shows throughout the years. Productions from the past few years are listed below.

Music Under the Stars
Great music combined with warm summer nights offer a perfect evening to be out under the stars with family and friends. The concerts start each Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm at the Miller Park Bandstand.

Celebrate America
Members of the Holiday Spectacular cast will return to the Miller Park Bandstand with their Celebrate America performance. You will hear many of your old favorite patriotic songs, plus some new numbers. This concert is performed July 3 & 4.

Illinois Symphony
The symphony has performed a free concert in the park the Sunday of Labor Day weekend the past 3 years (2006 – 2008).
