Miller Park PavilionThe pavilion at Miller Park was built at a cost of $45,000 in 1905, and was one of the finest pavilions ever put in a public park. It was designed by George Miller and is noted for its excellent acoustic properties for dance bands.
This unique landmark was restored in 1977 and continues to be a popular spot for a variety of activities. Rates vary depending upon room size and type of event. Reservations can be made starting January 1 of one year for the following year. (i.e. January 1, 2007 reservations start for 2008 rentals). The indoor facilities must be scheduled for a minimum of three (3) hours. Various areas are available for rental which include:
Entire Main Level - Large area with wooden floor and floor to ceiling windows. Overlooks Miller Park Lake. Capacity 300 - 350. $80/hr. (3 hr. minimum).
1/2 of Main Level - Partitions divide the main level into two smaller areas. The east side overlooks the lake; the west side faces the zoo. Capacity 100 - 150. $40/hr. (3 hr. minimum).
Upper or 3rd Level - Carpeted meeting room.
Capacity 75 - 100. $40/hr. (3 hr. minimum).
East Porch - Outside area protected from the elements
by an overhead balcony. Electricity and water
are available. Capacity 50 - 60. $50/day
Dances, Weddings, etc. - Includes entire main and upper levels. $700 per event. Also $150 damage/clean up deposit due at rental.
Commercial enterprises including businesses or corporations for profit will be charged twice the rate. Miller Park Pavilion Rental Policy & Procedures are available at the Parks and Recreation office. For information on availability or if you wish to see the facility, call (309) 434-2260.
| White Oak Community Room This facility, located at 1514 N. Cottage in White Oak Park, is a small meeting room for 30 - 35 people. A small kitchenette is in it. There is a patio off the room that faces the lake. $50/two hours and $25 for each additional hour. Over 4 hours is a full day charge of $200. |

Lincoln Leisure Center
Once an elementary school, this two-story building consists of a gymnasium and nine classrooms. Classrooms in the Lincoln Leisure Center are available to the public for meetings, educational workshops, birthday parties, training sessions, etc. The gymnasium is available for practices, games, demonstrations, clinics and special events. Rentals can be scheduled once department recreation programs have been scheduled. Rentals require a two-hour minimum and must be paid in full at the time of the reservation.
Located on the corner of Lee and Miller Streets, 1-1/2 blocks west of Route 51 South, Lincoln Leisure Center is a two-story building consisting of a gymnasium and nine classrooms. Rental opportunities are available to the public after recreation programs have been scheduled. Rentals require a two-hour minimum. No refunds on cancellations. There is a building supervisor on site during programs, activities, and rentals.

Open Air Shelter Policy
Open-air shelters located in Airport, Ewing I, Ewing II, White Oak, Brookridge, Northpoint, Forrest, Fell, Holiday, O'Neil, Pepper Ridge, P.J. Irvin, Rollingbrook, Stevenson, Sunnyside, Suburban East, McGraw, and Bittner Parks are available free-of-charge on a first-come, first-served basis.
There are two large shelters in Tipton Park which may be reserved. The one off GE Road is $50; the one off Stone Mountain Blvd. is $100 for the whole shelter and $50 for half. Call 434-2260 for more information.
Mobile Stage
The Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department’s 32’ hydraulically operated mobile stage offers stage facilities at any site. Parks and Recreation staff deliver, set-up and take-down the mobile stage for each rental. Payment must be made at least two weeks in advance of the delivery.

Swimming Pools
During the summer months, the Bloomington Parks &
Recreation Department operates two aquatic facilities.
These are great places to rent for a group outing,
special occasion or birthday party!
O’Neil Pool, located at 900 N. Hinshaw, is a 25 meter pool with two diving boards, a two flume slide, and a separate pool for small children.
Holiday Pool, located at 800 S. McGregor, is a 25 meter pool with a slide for the large pool and a zero depth children’s pool with play features.
Rentals are available 8:00 - 10:00 pm, Monday - Friday, and 7:00 - 10:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

How to Make a Reservation
Contact the Parks & Recreation office at 434-2260 to
schedule your private rental. Reservations may not be
made at the aquatic facility. Renter must fill out a facility
rental form and provide payment at least one week in
advance.

Located in the Prairie Vista Golf Course Clubhouse;
open all year and can accommodate up to 128 people.
