HOCKEY LEAGUES - Adult and Youth Information

All participants must be registered as 2011 - 2012 ice hockey players with USA Hockey in order to play in any league offered by the Pepsi Ice Center Hockey Program.

All registration for Ice Hockey Leagues will be processed at the Pepsi Ice Center. A registration form and additional information is available by contacting Joe Olson.

Registration will not be accepted without proof of USA Hockey Registration.

Adult SUMMER 2012 League

Must register by May 29, 2012; no exceptions

Players (ages 18+) will register as an individual and the Adult League Committee will form low, intermediate, and high skill teams as evenly as possible. The first week will be evaluations, with teams formed after that. Most games will be on Sundays. If the number of teams is greater than 12, a once a month game on a Friday or Saturday night will be necessary. Teams will play 12 total games. Fees include jersey, officials, time keepers, and ice time.

Bloomington residents: May 1 - May 29, 2012
Non-residents: May 8 - May 29, 2012

Game Dates: Sundays, June 3 - August 26 (No games 7/1)

Game Times: 1:10p - 11:00p (games between these times)

Fees: Players - $199 Min/Max: 48/156
Goalies - $109 Min/Max: 4/24

Summer Youth 3 on 3 Leagues (ages 3 - 8)
(Register at the Pepsi Ice Center or through Parks & Rec)

Pepsi Ice Center will run a youth 3 on 3 league for ages 3 - 8. This program is in cross ice format with 40 minute long games. Teams will be formed randomly each week. The program is designed so that the players touch the puck more often. Skill development for all players will be maximized. Games will be played at the Mite level.

Mini-Mites and house League Mites are encouraged to register.

No experience is required to participate. Full ice hockey equipment is required.

Session One (S1): June 9 - July 14 (not 6/23 & 6/30)
Session Two (S2): July 21 - Aug. 11
Time/Day: Saturday 12:50p - 1:30p
Fees: Players - $39 Goalies - $19

Travel Youth Teams - Bloomington Youth Hockey

Bloomington Youth Hockey will operate the Jr. Thunder travel teams at the Mite (two teams), Squirt, Peewee, Bantam, and Midget Major levels for the 2011-12 season. For more information please contact Bloomington Youth Hockey at www.bloomingtonyouthhockey.com.

High School Club Hockey

McLean County Youth Hockey Association (MCYHA) offers players in grades 9 – 12 a competitive varsity and junior varsity ice hockey program. Please note that this high school club is not affiliated with any high schools, just high school aged players competing against other high school club teams in Illinois.
