Pepsi Ice Center’s Learn-to-Skate program is a structured
Program designed to increase interest and participation in
ice skating. Lessons are designed for all age groups, including
adults.
The program provides a nurturing environment where
skills are broken down into progressive, achievable levels that encourage skater development.
The Learn-to-Skate program is offered through ISI, the Ice Skating
Institute.
-
The ISI Tot classes offer specialized instruction for tots,
ages 4 and 5, with the emphasis on fun! A class for students, age 3,
(Rockin’ Tots), is often times added to the class schedule.
-
The ISI Pre-Alpha class, for ages 6-12,
introduces skaters to the wonderful world of ice skating.
Emphasizing fun and safety, lessons quickly generate confidence
as new skaters develop skills and make new friends.
-
The ISI Basic Skills classes guide new skaters, ages 6-12,
through carefully graduated maneuvers, ensuring rapid progress over short time periods. Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta classes provide direction and build competency in all important foundation moves.
-
Adults can progress through ISI classes from Pre-Alpha through Delta, ages 13+.
-
Specialized areas of skating are offered for students completing prerequisite basic skills levels, such as Synchronized Skating Team, Freestyle, Power, Pepsi Pops, Cheer ‘N on Ice, Ice Dancing, etc.
