Princess Tea Party
Little girls will feel like royalty as they are swept into the land of make believe. Each child will receive a crown, get their hair and nails done, and get a sparkling touch of glitter. (January 30)

Daddy/Daughter  Dance

Daddy/Daughter Dance
Create a memory with your daughter at this semi-formal afternoon of music, food, and fun. There are pictures, flowers, and dinner included in the fee. (February 7)

Mother/Son Fun Day
This day challenges moms and sons with goofy games, relays, and more. Everyone gets to refuel with pizza after burning off energy while playing games. (March 14)

Bunny's Pizza Dinner & After Dark Egg Hunt
This family event involves individuals using flashlights to search for eggs that have been hidden in the park. There will be pizza dinner, drawings for prizes, and a sweet treat after the hunt. (Mar. 27)

American Girl Lunch
American Girl Brunch is a morning of fun for girls, their moms, and their American Girl Dolls. Everyone has a chance to win the American girl Doll of the Year and other prizes (May 2)

McGraw Bandshell

Family Fitness Day
will get the whole family moving! This free event is a great opportunity to participate in games, demonstrations, and more. (May)

Summer Special Events

Miller Park Summer Theatre
Miller Park Summer Theatre will take the stage with two productions on the Miller Park Bandstand. Shows start at 7:30 pm. The 2009 shows will be announced in March.

Concerts in the Park
Celebrate the summer with you and your family at these outdoor events. All the concerts are free and for all ages. A complete listing will be available in March.

4th of July in Miller Park
4th of July in Miller Park features fireworks at dusk and a presentation by Celebrate America at 7:00 pm on the Miller Park Bandstand. Throughout the day families can picnic in the park, visit the zoo, enjoy the sprayground and playground, and/or ride the paddleboats.

Worldwide Day of Play
Worldwide Day of Playis the official day to turn of ALL thing electronic, get off the couch, and go PLAY! (September 2010)

Fall Festival
The Fall Festival is fun for everyone. There are hayrack rides, Halloween games, entertainment,  storytelling, demonstrations, and more. (October 2010)

Turkey Trot
The 32nd annual Turkey Trot will include a ½ mile fun run for those 14 & under, a 3-mile run for all ages, and a 1.5 mile walk. (November 25, 2010)
