SOAR - Sports & Fitness
Sports and fitness programs include exercise and fitness, recreational sports and Special Olympics training programs. Weekly exercise and fitness programs are held for individuals of all fitness levels. Special Olympics sports training and competition are currently offered in the following areas: athletics, basketball, bocce, bowling, Nordic skiing, power lifting, snowshoeing, softball, young athletes and volleyball. All of these programs offer the opportunity for skill development and improvement, physical fitness, social interaction, and the development of sportsmanship, team play and leadership skills.
