Goggle Making Workshop

The McLean County Museum of History will be hosting a Goggle Making Workshop on Saturday, April 6 in preparation for the summer Steampunk event Cogs & Corsets happening in downtown Bloomington. The workshop starts at 1:15 pm. The workshop will be held in the Museum's third floor classroom. Materials fee of $5 is payable at the door (cash only). Participants will construct basic costume goggles that can be customized to their taste. Participants are welcome to bring additional details such as studs, loupes, wires, gears and other decorations. All materials to construct basic goggles and tools will be provided. Participants can bring their own tool kits. Hot melt glue guns and Exacto blades will be used. Free parking will be available around the Museum Square or at the Lincoln Parking Deck, located one block south of the Museum on Front Street.
