BCPA Volunteer Orientation Session

Volunteer orientation sessions

The Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts (BCPA) is looking for volunteers to join our wonderful volunteer corps.  Our professional, experienced volunteers seat patrons, sell merchandise, take tickets, and other essential duties during our programs and community events such as the American Passion Play, Holiday Spectacular, Illinois Symphony Orchestra, and the Sound of Illinois Chorus.

If you are interested in helping us continue our tradition of bringing quality arts and entertainment to our community, please attend one of our volunteer orientation sessions on Tuesday, June 18 or Thursday, June 27 from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the BCPA.

Volunteers are usually asked to help at least 7 shows each season and must be at least 18 years of age.  A typical volunteer shift is 4 to 5 hours long so it is likely you will be standing for a length of time.  We provide training and more experienced duties when you are comfortable with taking on additional responsibilities.

Please call Monica Adams, Volunteer and Concessions Coordinator, at (309) 434-2768 or send an
e-mail to madams@cityblm.org if you are interested in attending one of the orientation meetings or if you have additional questions regarding volunteering at the BCPA.
