Now Accepting Applications for the Homeowner Rehabilitation Loan Program
The City of Bloomington is accepting applications for its Homeowner Rehabilitation Loan Program. The City will utilize Community Development Block Grant funding from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to assist approximately 25 low and moderate income households with minor to moderate home repairs. Assistance is provided in the form of a zero percent interest deferred loan payable at the time that the homeowner is no longer the owner/occupant of the property. Properties must be located within Bloomington’s city limits.
Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Homeowners interested in participating in the program can obtain an application from the City’s website, in the Community Development Department at the Government Center, 115 E. Washington St., Bloomington, or by contacting Jennifer Toney at firstname.lastname@example.org.
