Juvenile Arrests made from Shooting in Early March
Bloomington, IL – On Friday, 3/6/2020, at approximately 12:40 p.m., Bloomington Police officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Clearwater Ave for a stolen vehicle and shots fired incident.
Upon arrival, officers located physical evidence that a shooting had occurred and confirmed the victim's vehicle was stolen during an altercation. The adult male victim was uninjured during the incident. There were no other injuries reported.
During the investigation, BPD's Criminal Investigation Division and Street Crimes Unit made two arrests and recovered the stolen vehicle.
Two juveniles were arrested from the incident:
A 16-year-old male for: Mob Action and Motor Vehicle Theft
A 15-year-old male for: Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, Mob Action, and Motor Vehicle Theft
