Mayor Signs New 48-Hour Order to Allow Curbside Package, Curbside, & Delivery of Alcohol

Post Date:03/23/2020 7:13 PM
The Mayor signed a 48-hour emergency order on Friday, March 20 to allow for package, curbside, and delivery of alcohol for off-premise consumption by restaurants and taverns. The Council was anticipated to take action that would extend that order at tonight's meeting, which was subsequently canceled for technical difficulties and will be rescheduled for later this week. The Mayor has since signed another 48-hour emergency order that extends Friday's order. In short, there is no disruption to package, curbside, and delivery of alcohol for off-premise consumption and approved restaurants and taverns may continue to engage in this practice.
