Please see below for the latest news and information from the City of Bloomington in relation to its COVID-19 response:

  • The Council meeting originally scheduled for 3/23/20 has been rescheduled to take place Thursday, 3/26/20 at 6 pm. In order to comply with social distancing and group gathering guidelines, we still anticipate only a few members of the public will be able to attend in-person in Council Chambers. Your original comment will be entered into the public record, given to Council, and posted to the website. If you have not already submitted a comment and would like to, please email with your comment by 5:45 pm on 3/26/20.
  • The Public Hearing for the 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and 2020 Annual Action Plan and consideration of authorizing submittal of the 2020 Annual Action Plan to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development that was on the agenda for 3/23/20 is currently anticipated to be on the agenda for Council's 4/27/20 meeting.
  • The 3/25/20 Planning Commission meeting is canceled and the public hearing scheduled for that day is rescheduled to the Planning Commission's next regularly-scheduled meeting on 4/8/20.
