Mayor Signs Proclamation Affirming Governor's Executive Order

Post Date:04/07/2020 1:07 PM

On April 7, 2020, Mayor Renner signed a proclamation affirming Governor J.B. Pritzker's executive order, emphasizing the importance of the stay-at-home portion. The City has had the ability to disburse crowds since the Governor's order was issued and will continue to do so. If the public witnesses a gathering of an inappropriate size, they are encouraged to contact Police non-emergency at 309-820-8888. As the COVID-19 situation continues in our community, the City's priority is public safety. We thank the public for their cooperation during this time.
