Updates

City Holiday - Good Friday, April 10, 2020

Post Date:04/08/2020 9:14 AM

While most City facilities are already closed as part of the City's response to COVID-19, most City services are still available. However, on Friday, April 10th, City operations that would normally be unavailable on a holiday will be closed in observance of Good Friday. This includes walk up bill payment and other services currently being offered at the exterior ticket windows at Grossinger Motors Arena (corner of Front and Madison). Services closed for the holiday will resume as usual on Monday, April 13. Facilities will remain closed.

Garbage/Recycle Collection
Bulk waste and brush will not be collected, and the Citizen Convenience Center will be closed, on Friday, April 10, for Good Friday. Garbage and recycling will be collected on regularly-scheduled collection days. Garbage and recycling must be placed in the proper container at the curb, not in the street, no earlier than 2:00 p.m. on the day prior to scheduled collection and no later than 6:00 a.m. on collection day.

Mayor's Open House
Mayor Renner's regular Mayor's Open House will not take place on Friday, April 10. It is anticipated these will be suspended until further notice due to COVID-19. However, Mayor Renner is still accessible for questions and concerns via email at mayor@cityblm.org.
